Travelling all over the mountains and rivers, watching all the clouds roll up and down, the most beautiful in Shen Congwen's heart will always be his hometown - Xiangxi. Xiangxi under Huang Yongyu's brush and ink has deeply imprinted its natural scenery, folk culture and humanistic atmosphere in his art creations. The landscape, villages and folklore elements of western Hunan often appear in his paintings, showing the unique charm of western Hunan and his deep affection for his hometown. In Song Zuying's songs, the landscape and folk elements of western Hunan became the source of inspiration for Song Zuying's songwriting.

There are always some legendary stories and characters in Xiangxi, a land of culture and martial arts. Today, we will introduce Tim Mo, an artist who combines multiple roles, including but not limited to art advisor, curator and artist of Bravo Arts Gallery China, from Xiangxi.

莫百鹏，71年出生，湖南湘西，毕业于长沙理工学院艺术系。誉美世界画廊策展人&艺术顾问。作品曾被多国外交官收藏，如英国、法国、瑞士、以色列等国驻广州领事馆以及国内外重要企业和个人收藏。

Born in 1971, Xiangxi, Hunan Province, graduated from the Art Department of Changsha University of Science & Technology. He is the curator and Art Consultant of Bravo Arts Gallery, and his works have been collected by the Israeli Consulate in Guangzhou, the Swiss Consulate in China, the French Consulate in Guangzhou, as well as famous enterprises and individuals at home and abroad.

时间，对于艺术家来说，如水般流荡。可以上塑源头，可以纵横千里。艺术的创作可以聆听千年以前，也可以求索于当前，未来。题材的选择，绘画的形式，只是想把沉淀的思想，以视觉的形式表达出来。

Time, for the artist, flows like water. It can be moulded upwards to its source, or it can flow across the dry miles. The creation of art can go back to a thousand years ago, and can also seek the present, the future. The choice of subject matter, and the form of painting, just want to put the precipitation of thought, expressed in visual form.

《逍遥游系列》艺术家自述

A Happy Excursion Series Artist's Statement

对于艺术，空间，时空，诗歌是我对绘画的形式和题材的理解，对生活的反思。我喜欢庄子的那份逍遥，喜欢陆游的那份野逸。喜欢从色彩的变幻中，寻找身边的情感。抽象艺术是这些年研究的主题一《逍遥游系列》，观念性的思考一种山水的情怀。每一幅作品，都是从浩瀚的宇宙中，寻找哲学的边际，从诗意的感知获取灵性的浪漫。

For art, space, time and space, poetry is my understanding of the form and subject of painting, and my reflection on life. I like the freedom of Zhuangzi and the wildness of Lu You. I like to find the emotion around me from the change of color. Abstract art is the theme of this year's research, "A Happy Excursion Series", conceptual thinking of a kind of landscape sentiment. Each piece of artwork searches for the edge of philosophy from the vastness of the universe, and obtains the romance of spirituality from poetic perception.

《易经》上说：象天法地。山川河流，自然万象，探索一种人文的精神。从诗的境界体悟天地的博大，精魂。而蕴涵着东西方古典诗性的精魂，这个精魂的彻底释放对当代艺术的表现。

The I Ching says: "Imitate the sky and follow the laws of the earth. The mountains, rivers, and natural phenomena explore a humanistic spirit. From the realm of poetry, we realize the greatness of heaven and earth, the essence of the soul. The essence of classical poetry of the East and the West is embedded in the soul, and the complete release of this soul is the expression of contemporary art.

非具像是从具象的视觉中，探索具象的内在境界。模糊了具象与非具象的形象，追求内醒的共振。从色彩的变幻中寻找光的璀璨，空间的奥秘。作品的创作，营造诗与哲学的边缘，从经营构图，笔触的运动轨迹，色彩的浸润思考当代艺术的观念性表达。

作品浓厚的东方韵味，在国际国内上赢得了众多藏家的喜欢。被以色列，英国，法国，瑞士等国的领事馆收藏。

The non-figurative image is a visualization of the figurative, exploring the inner realm of the figurative. Blurred figurative and non-figurative images seek the resonance of inner awakening. From the change of colours, we search for the brilliance of light and the mystery of space. The creation of the works creates the edge of poetry and philosophy, thinking about the conceptual expression of contemporary art in terms of composition, the movement of the brush strokes, and the infiltration of colours.

The strong oriental flavour of his works has won the favour of many collectors both at home and abroad. They have been collected by the consulates of Israel, Britain, France and Switzerland.

风微水净，山，山入云中看霄汉。水，水映星梦知乾坤。山一程，水一程，山水程程，繁华几分，相知几分。分分都是今生牵手行。

易经曰:立天之道曰阴与阳，立地之道曰柔与刚，立人之道曰仁与义。《静水自有山河在》的创作以一山一水，山为阳，水为阴，一阳一阴为天地之道，宇内二气。这幅作品以动与静，变与幻，思与想，探索天时，地利，人和，三者合一，⻛水的至高境界。

千里江山图，在艺术史上以青春画青春，以少年的心情，表达盛世的容颜。马与千里江山图的结合，是在创作中与古人对话，是对千里江山图的一次游历。

《踏云归来看江山》，时空在变，沧海桑田。物象的转换，以想象感知千年以前的庐山，千年以前古人对山，对水，对人，对宇宙的观念。红色的马，奋蹄而奔，是创作中的内心情感的奔发。江山千年，古人如远去的云，无法交流，只能去感知。艺术的形式，作品的视觉，或许是创作中对古人的追忆。

In Treading Clouds and Returning to See the Mountains and Rivers, time and space change, and the sea falls into a mulberry field.
